Bosscoder Academy boosted my confidence and helped me achieve consistency while solving problems.
I was familiar with C++ and had some knowledge of data structures prior to joining Bosscoder. I used to search topics on YouTube and try to learn the concepts. But that was not sufficient to boost my confidence. I used to solve little problems, but I was not consistent because I had no proper guidance at that time. I also lacked communication skills and was nervous about the interviews.
So I decided to utilize my time properly for preparation. I wanted someone who could guide me on each upcoming step. Then I learned about Bosscoder from one of my seniors.
Bosscoder Academy‘s structured curriculum and live classes focus on the optimum solution for every problem.
When I started at Bosscoder, I was given a structured curriculum for data structure and algorithms, as well as a sufficient number of questions on each topic. We have live classes for 1.5 hours, 3–4 days a week. They first teach the concept behind each topic using a couple of famous problems, then assign a sufficient number of hand-picked questions to solve. In the next class, they clear every doubt and solve all the assigned problems, from brute force to optimizing the solution.

Each student is assigned a mentor to discuss their doubts personally. My mentor conducted numerous mock interviews to help me improve my communication skills and explain the problem in the interviews. She also pushed me to increase the number of questions I was solving, which helped me be more consistent by solving 3/4 of the problems daily.
By the end of the DSA part, which takes around 4 months, I had gained a lot of confidence and learned advanced topics like segment trees, trie, number theory, dp, graphs, etc. I have become much more confident in solving medium- to hard-level questions.
I gained confidence in key concepts with the assistance of Bosscoder Academy.
After the DSA part, I also got confident with CS Fundamentals (including OS, DBMS, and Computer Networks), System Design Concepts, and did one project.
Finally, I got placed at MakeMyTrip as a backend developer.
